SNCF Réseau Slammed for Incompetence by Eurostar Co-Founder

Eurostar co-founder Chris Engelsman has criticized SNCF Réseau, the French railway infrastructure manager, for its incompetence and conservatism. In an interview with Dutch travel agent Treinreiziger, Engelsman said that it is difficult to do business with SNCF Réseau and that the company's attitude is partly understandable but also partly incompetence.

Engelsman also said that SNCF Réseau is very conservative in its planning for nighttime railworks, which has led to delays and cancellations for Eurostar services.
