EastEnders' Shocking Exit: Beloved Character Departs, But It's Not Bobby Beale

EastEnders fans could be in for a shocking twist this week as Ian Beale plots to get rid of Freddie Slater instead of Bobby Beale.
In Wednesday's episode, Bobby was seen planning to leave Walford to live with his stepmother Jane Beale after a heartbreaking betrayal. However, a new spoiler for Thursday's episode reveals that Ian has a different plan in mind.
Ian wants Freddie to leave Walford for good so that Bobby can stay. But will he be successful, given that Bobby is set to leave the show at some point?
Cindy Beale has been trying to get Bobby to leave, never having forgiven him for accidentally killing her daughter Lucy Beale. The fact that Bobby has been dating her daughter Anna Knight, who is not biologically related to him, has made her uneasy.
When Cindy found out that Anna was pregnant with Bobby's baby, she was keen for Anna to leave him and get Bobby out of the way. Bobby was heartbroken to learn that Anna was terminating the pregnancy, especially after he had just caught her and Freddie kissing.
Cindy's true feelings about Bobby emerged as she made it clear that she didn't like him and couldn't forgive him for Lucy's death. As Anna considered getting back with Bobby, Cindy tried to change her mind and advised Bobby to leave for good.
In the next episode, Cindy will continue to secretly work against Bobby to get him as far away from Anna and Walford as possible. But with Ian doing the opposite, it could be Freddie who ends up exiting the show instead.
Spoilers reveal that Ian desperately tries to get Bobby to stay in Walford by driving Freddie out of the Square. But will Freddie leave, and will this episode be Bobby's exit too?
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
