Eco-Warriors Paint Heathrow Orange: Just Stop Oil's Bold Protest

Two activists from the environmental group "Just Stop Oil" found themselves in hot water when they sprayed bright orange paint on the departure boards at Heathrow Airport. The Metropolitan Police got involved and arrested the duo on charges of criminal damage, making it clear they would continue to monitor the situation for any further disturbances.
The incident took place on a Tuesday morning and left many travellers taken aback. A spokesperson for Heathrow reassured the public that they had swiftly resolved the protest and that all involved had been removed from the premises. "The airport continues to operate as normal, and passengers are traveling without any disruptions," they stated. However, they also emphasized that while they agree on the necessity for the aviation industry to reduce carbon emissions, they do not condone unlawful and irresponsible protests.
As part of a larger movement dubbed "Oil Kills," climate activists have been targeting airports worldwide. "Just Stop Oil" reported that 21 different groups across 12 countries have already taken action at 18 airports. Did you happen to witness the protest? We’d love to hear your story!

She continued passionately, "Repression and the threat of prison won't deter us from defending our families and communities. We need to halt the extraction of oil and gas. Just look at the wildfires in Jasper National Park, the record rainfall devastating our British farmers, and the overflowing mortuaries in India due to a deadly heatwave. If we truly want to protect life and what we cherish, we must create a treaty to 'Just Stop Oil' by 2030."
Another activist, Jane Touil, aged 58, expressed her frustration with a heartfelt statement: "Ordinary citizens must take a stand and push our governments to act accordingly because, without our pressure, they won't
