There’s just something about swim-up bars that draws me in like a moth to a flame! Trust me, I’ve seen enough to confidently declare this bar as one of the finest in the entire country. It’s a must-have experience for anyone visiting Port Douglas, be it for a honeymoon, a family getaway, a friends’ retreat, or a well-deserved solo vacation. The bar also serves a delightful array of frozen mocktails and slushies, making it an ideal destination for those on a babymoon – which is precisely what took me to this charming little Queensland town.

Now, apart from my admiration for the pool that I can’t stop raving about, the on-site spa is a haven that truly won my heart. I indulged in an hour-long pregnancy massage that was precisely what I needed to ease into my holiday, surrounded by the calming ambiance of the spa. They also offer hot stone massages and beauty treatments, allowing you to fill your day with one rejuvenating appointment after another.
