Gorka Marquez's Heartfelt Plea After Giovanni Pernice's Exit

Professional dancer Gorka Marquez has recently opened up about his future on the iconic BBC show, Strictly Come Dancing, amidst a whirlwind period for the beloved dance competition. This all comes after complaints voiced by contestants Amanda Abbington and Zara McDermott concerning the behavior of some of the professionals involved. As a result, fellow dancers Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima were shown the exit door.
Following Abbington's claims of what she described as Pernice's "threatening and abusive" demeanor during rehearsals, the BBC has initiated an investigation into the conduct of its Strictly pros. The latest series will also feature new welfare measures, including the introduction of chaperones, aiming to prevent any similar situations in the future. While Pernice has firmly denied all allegations against him, he has already secured a role in the Italian version of the dance competition. Additionally, he has received vocal support from several Strictly alumni, such as Debbie McGee, Katya Jones, and Carlos Gu.
