Halsey made a grand return to the MTV Video Music Awards stage on Wednesday night, captivating the audience with a powerful performance of her new single, Ego.

Arriving on stage atop a bicycle, Halsey dramatically pulled open a garage door, revealing her band eagerly awaiting inside. With her guitar in hand, she unleashed a captivating performance of the track, which is featured on her upcoming album, The Great Impersonator.

Halsey's return to the VMAs stage marked a significant moment, as her last performance at the awards show was in 2016, when she collaborated with The Chainsmokers on their hit Closer.

The Bad at Love singer has been nominated for seven VMAs throughout her career. Earlier this year, she announced the release of her fifth studio album, The Great Impersonator, set to drop on October 25th.
