Madonna's Terrifying Encounter: Security Thwarts Attack

Oasis songwriter Noel Gallagher has openly shared that he "hates having his picture taken," but that hasn’t stopped him from becoming part of the prestigious National Portrait Gallery. A striking image of Gallagher, captured by photographer Zoe Law, will make its debut on November 29, featured in the gallery's latest exhibition called Legends. This showcase will highlight 100 portraits of individuals who have significantly influenced Law's life and career. Notably, Gallagher’s portrait will find a permanent home within the gallery once the exhibition concludes on March 2, 2025.
This exhibition will also shine a light on other iconic figures, including England World Cup winner Sir Bobby Charlton, actor Orlando Bloom, and an exclusive, never-before-seen portrait of Canadian actress Kim Cattrall. Reflecting on his inclusion in the gallery, Gallagher humbly called himself a "grumpy middle-aged man," stating, "I am thrilled and honoured to have my portrait added to the National Portrait Gallery's permanent collection." He added, "The thought of the portrait of a grumpy middle-aged man, who frankly hates having his picture taken, being permanently displayed for future generations to marvel at is very special. Thanks and praise."
This moment of recognition comes following some lighthearted banter between Gallagher and his brother, Liam, who affectionately referred to Noel as a "gorgeous and talented young man" during a conversation with fans. Liam took a moment to engage with fans after the whirlwind of their Oasis reunion tour ticket sales on Ticketmaster. When pushed by one fan about a potential reconciliation with Noel, whom he often playfully dubbed a "potato" on social media, Liam responded with enthusiasm, stating, "I won't have a bad word said about that gorgeous talented young man." However, Liam did face some backlash for his curt response to fans frustrated by being booted from Ticketmaster during the initial ticket release and for the unexpected price hikes due to "dynamic pricing."
