Downtown Music Publishing Inks Global Deal with Iconic Italian Singer Mina's Label

Downtown Music Publishing (DMP) has secured a global music publishing deal with PDU, the record label and publishing company of legendary Italian singer Mina.

Under the agreement, DMP will handle global publishing administration and sync services for Mina's extensive catalog, which boasts over 150 million records sold worldwide.

Mina's music has been a soundtrack to Italian life for generations, and she remains the only artist to have released a number one hit in the Italian charts for seven consecutive decades.

The deal includes Mina's vast body of work, comprising over 80 LPs and 1,395 songs performed in multiple languages, including Italian, English, Spanish, and French.

PDU's catalog also features over 400 songs from 1980 onwards, including Mina's forthcoming album set for release in November 2024.
