Netflix's acclaimed Baby Reindeer emerged victorious in the Best Limited Series category, with its creator and star Richard Gadd earning the Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie award.

Prime Video's Hacks outshone The Bear to claim Best Comedy Series, while Christopher Storer of The Bear took home the Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series award. The drama, helmed by Guy Ritchie, also secured the Outstanding Stunt Coordination For Comedy Programming award.

Shogun dominated the Emmys with an impressive 18 wins, including Outstanding Drama Series. Jeff Probst of Survivor, Kristen Kish of Top Chef, and RuPaul of RuPaul's Drag Race were among those defeated by Shogun's star.

An observant journalist noticed a possible moment of tension between rival shows during the announcement. However, the stars involved have dismissed the claims, stating they simply needed a restroom break.

Despite its popularity on Netflix and renewal for a second season, The Gentleman left the Emmys nearly empty-handed. After the category was announced, the team from Drag Race (including all the queens) cleared out and headed to the lobby, reported Chris Gardner of The Hollywood Reporter. He shared a video of the cast exiting the auditorium.
