Strictly's Kai Widdrington 'Gutted' Over Show Shake-Up

Strictly Come Dancing's Kai Widdrington has recently shared his feelings of disappointment regarding his absence from the competitive lineup in the new series. The talented professional dancer revealed that he won't be partnered with a celebrity this time around, meaning fans can expect to catch only glimpses of him during the group performances.
In a candid conversation with the Daily Star, Kai opened up about his experience, saying: "Everyone wants to get a celebrity. Unfortunately, it wasn't my time this series. Two boys couldn't have one this series and sadly I am one of them." He went on to reflect on the nature of the competition: "Some of us don't get partners and that's the way it is. Let's see what happens next year. Hopefully I'll get one then."
Despite the setback, Kai is still excited about the upcoming series, which is set to premiere this weekend on BBC One. He teased fans by saying: "The line-up of celebs this year is amazing. It is going to be a fantastic series, as it always is." His enthusiasm doesn't stop there; he mentioned the hard work that has gone into preparing group routines over the summer. "We have been filming a lot of the group routines. There are some amazing ones. One of the ones I feature in is very funny," he added.
Kai certainly made an impression last year when he was paired with Angela Rippon, who made history as the oldest contestant in the show's history. Their performances not only captivated audiences but also blossomed into a genuine friendship. He fondly recalls, "No one expected Angela to be so brilliant. We used that to our advantage and utilised our assets. We are still the best of friends. She is a mate."
Fans of Strictly are heartbroken about Kai not being paired this season. Social media has seen an outpouring of disappointment. One fan tweeted: "Gutted Kai isn't getting a partner this year. He's an absolute sweetheart and surely is a great ambassador for #Strictly after the recent controversies." Another voice of
